Antico Sole Italy designs an array of theme-based itineraries and excursions allowing you to focus
on a particular theme for a day, a week, or as long as desired. Themes can cover any subject imaginable,
from the art of Michelangelo to Venetian glass to ancient Roman politics to wine, food and shopping.
Past themes include Etruscan Tuscany (exploring the land and ruins of the ancient Italian culture that
predates ancient Rome), Women in Italian Art (focusing on women artists, women as subjects in art,
fashion and customs over the years) and the Castle Crawl (a tour of various castle and tower remains
from across the ages). We'll work with you to create a theme or topic that interests you, whether for
study or pleasure. Exploring a theme in depth is a great way to learn more about Italy's rich history.

Antico Sole Italy specializes in planning trips for individuals, couples, friends traveling together and
small groups of no more than 8 people. Since our personal service is highly individualized, we
discourage larger groups. We want to make your experience in Italy unique.
Please contact us as far in advance as possible before your trip to better benefit from our services.
Many cities are particularly hectic during the "high season" (April-October) making the best hotels
and accommodations difficult to reserve without sufficient preparation time. Ideal planning time is
several months ahead, as many as 6 or more if you're thinking about visiting in the busy summer
months. We'll do our best from the moment you contact us, but please remember that quality will
be higher if we have adequate time to work with you!
